Good to know

• Ses Taules is the main gateway into the walled enclosure of Dalt Vila.
• It was built in 1584 and 1585 and sits between the Sant Joan and Santa Llúcia bastions.
• The imperial coat of arms and crown top the gate, and the statues beside it are replicas of originals kept in the Archaeological Museum.
• A wooden crossing over the moat was later replaced by a drawbridge and, in the early 20th century, by a fixed bridge.
